"A Program to Empower Juvenile Offenders to Break the Cycle of Delinquency"
JORI TRAINING SCHEDULE
JORI is a statewide training project that provides FREE training in the use of Rainbow Days' Cirriculum Based Support Group program Youth Connection. This two-day training prepares juvenile justice and other youth service professionals to implement Youth Connection, a research-based program that teaches life skills to high-risk juveniles to prevent them from entering the juvenile justice system, or if in the system, to prevent them from returning.
JORI is a program of Rainbow Days, Inc. funded through a grant from the Office of the Governor-Criminal Justice Division and supported by the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission.
JORI provides free training for Texas Residents. If you are interested in coming to Texas for a JORI training, please call our Training Services Division for fees at 214-887-0726. "Support Group Facilitator Training" is a two day training designed to equip juvenile justice personnel to conduct Youth Connection, a research-based life skills support group for at-risk and high-risk youth.
Those completing the training will receive:
- A copy of Youth Connection: A Support Group Curriculum for Youth, Ages 12-17
- A monthly informational newsletter
- Ongoing support and technical assistance
