Hi Parents!
My name is Dylan and I am six years old. I want to tell you about a way that you can teach your kids about giving to others.
|
My mom works with Rainbow Days. It is a group of people that help homeless and at-risk kids. They also teach kids like me to grow up without drugs, alcohol, or violence. I wanted to help so I decided that I would save $2 from the $5 I get each week for allowance. When I have enough saved, I give it to Rainbow Days. Three months ago, I gave $58 to the after-school program so they could buy new computer games. The kids don't have computers at home like I do. It felt really good to help the children.
I am saving $2 each week to continue helping the children. I hope that your children might think about joining me. Together we can make a big difference. Even 25 cents a week would really help.
If your child would like to donate, please send your check to: Rainbow Days, Inc.
4300 MacArthur Ave., Suite 260
Dallas, Texas 75209
Please note on your check "Kids Saving 4 Kids" and include the name and address of the child making the donation.
Thanks and let's start saving!
